Frequencies of political coalitions in the European Parliament
Winning majorities in: All Policy Areas
The figures present the numbers and percentages for how frequently a given coalition of European Political Groups have formed a majority when voting. A given coalition must be met at least at 30 votes overall or at least 10 votes when a particular policy area is selected (in the chosen time interval) in order to be displayed. Also, we only display the most relevant coalitions (most often met).

Indicates how frequent a European Political Group is part of a winning majority when voting.
Map of how MEPs have voted in the 2004-2009 European Parliament. Each individual dot is an MEP, and the colours indicate their affiliation with a European Political Group. The results suggest that MEPs vote along political party lines more often than along national lines.
