VoteWatch.eu is a non-for-profit project. The organisation is sustained through grant-funding and sponsorships from both private and public institutions, such as foundations, public sector organisations and private companies.
VoteWatch.eu is non-partisan and does not receive funding from any partisan institutions. The funding sought in the form of sponsorships is screened carefully against 'conflict of interest'-principles and internal policy.
Sponsorships can take different forms, depending on the organisation. But most sponsorships are in the form of financial contribution to cover the costs for the development and running of the organisation and its activities. Sponsorships are publicly announced on the website, and the sponsoring organisation will be acknowledged with the publication of its logo, depending on its contribution. Sponsoring organisations are also granted the right to announce its sponsorship on its own website with the VoteWatch logo and link included, according to clear communication provisions agreed.
